I enjoyed mocking that Dooce.com site Wednesday. Perhaps it will be a regular feature.

The blog of the year, according to the 2005 Bloggies, is BoingBoing.net. Let's take a look at this gem. Ah, let's see, well, it looks like a blog. Every third post is about things only complete douches care about, like DRM (Digital Rights Management), and all in all it comes off like a less dorky Slashdot.org, which I guess is its only redeeming value.

But overall, nothing posted there has any redeeming value and nothing is worth your time. Borrrring. Maybe someone could explain why this site is better than any other blog, but I guess I'm missing something.

There will be no updates next week as I vacation in San Diego, CA (it means "whale vagina"). If you don't like it, eat me.
