I haven't updated because I've been sick with a deadly virus.

Anyway, they announced the winners
of the 2005 Bloggies this weekend. Of
course, this site took every major honor, including "Best Blog",
"Best Meme", and "Best New Zealand Weblog".
This site Dooce.com won a
lot, for some apparent reason which I cannot figure out based on
looking at the site for approximately 3 seconds. Actually I lied: I
wrote that previous sentence before the page actually loaded.
Ok it's loaded now. Let's see what we have. Ah ha, written by a
chick. Big surprise there. Requisite paypal begging-for-money links?
Check. Ahh, a picture of the day. How quaint. This won for most
"humorous" weblog? Oh what a funny story! Your ugly baby stole your
wallet at the carwash and you had to pry it out of his hands!? And a
hilarious quip from the carwash attendant. Now tell the truth, did
that guy actually say that, or did you make it up? Because either
way it's lame as shit.
Hey, she could spend her $20.05 gift certificate to Amazon.com on
this
book and still have some left over for baby
wipes!
